Why we do this
Our Academy exist so children of all walks of life can achieve their best while they learn, play, and grow in a safe environment. Smart Start is a model Center of quality childcare and education, as we consistently assist children in learning compassion and respect for others.
OUR CENTER
One of the important areas of focus when Smart Start Academy began was to develop a fun and inspiring learning environment. We wanted an uplifting place that sparks creativity and promotes happiness. We believe that children learn best in a play-oriented, hands-on environment in which each child develops school readiness skills.
We have over 5,500 square feet of space divided into 8 different age-range classrooms, our offices and our kitchen. Clean, well-maintained facilities and equipment are standards we adhere to daily. Cameras are located throughout the Academy providing peace of mind for each Team Member and parent.
We believe the family unit is the most important factor in a child's life. Therefore, we take a partnership approach to child care and we operate an open-door policy for all our families. We invite you to come see for yourselves. We're confident you're gonna love it!
What we do
At Smart Start we strive to assemble the best leadership available. Dedication, extensive training and quality resources are all essential building blocks in our foundation of learning and teaching.
The objective of Smart Start's curriculum is to create a balanced environment of teacher-directed instruction and child-initiated activities. We believe curriculum should always be improving and responding to new developments in education. We teach our students to organize, to problem-solve and to use their imaginations. The activities we provide give children many opportunities to develop their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
